  • Coffee requires careful agronomy and attention to shade, pruning, nutrients and water management.

  • Yield and quality depend heavily on microclimate conditions and harvest discipline.

HARVESTING @ NAADRA

  • Hand-selective harvesting is used for specialty coffee, picking only ripe cherries. Strip harvesting collects all cherries at once and is used for commercial-grade products.
  • Selective picking improves flavor, reduces defects and increases market value.
  • India harvest period is November to February depending on region and rainfall.

GENERAL PROCESSING METHODS

METHOD SENSORY EFFECT
Washed Carbonic Maceration
Natural Fruity, sweet, rich body
Honey Caramel, creamy texture, balanced sweetness
Anaerobic Wine-like, structured, aromatic complexity
Carbonic Maceration Intense fruit, smooth texture
Wet-hulled Rustic, earthy, bold body

DRYING, MILLING & GRADING

  • Processing choices define final flavor profile more strongly than bean variety.
  • Processing determines 60–70% of flavor outcome.

After processing, our beans are dried to 10.5–12% moisture then milled to remove parchment skin. Final sorting uses screen sizing and defect removal for consistency.

  • Sorting increases value and consistency and is critical for export markets.
  • We Pack as per export country requirement, which is with GrainPro inside jute that protects from moisture and odors during shipping.
  • If there are specific packing requirements, you may clarify them during the process.
  • Cupping verifies taste consistency and identifies faults early.

  • Scores above 80 qualify as specialty and command premium purchase.

  • Transparent cupping helps us build trust with roasters and importers.
